Gina Goulette was nominated by her colleague, Danielle Clark.

"The day Officer G set foot on our campus, we all became better humans," said Clark. "Officer Goulette has extended her compassion, her priority for safety, and her kindness to every single student, staff member, teacher and parent at Don Estridge. Officer G mentors students, evaluates protocols to keep us safe, and still has a free moment to listen if you are in need. She has redefined safety for all of our students and staff members. Her transparency shows that the priority of her job is our safety. Her presence creates a comfort for all of us who enter schools every day. Our students are now more aware of mental health, why safety protocols are in place, ethics, manners, academia, feelings, motivation and patience. Teachers feel an unlimited amount of support, and her smile makes even the toughest days easier. Words will never show the magnitude of her change to our school culture. She truly is an asset to our school and to our lives."

Officer G is a compassionate person who ensures that the safety of all staff and students are the priority on a daily basis. My oldest children attend Atlantic High now and the students from Atlantic can vouch for the wonderful person that she is everyday. This nomination is well deserved.

Yessssss!!!! ???????? I mean where do I even begin when talking about my favorite person in the world?! She is the most amazing person I will ever meet. I am the mother I am today because of her. Everything good in me has come from this woman right here. Everything good that I pass to my child will come from this woman right here. She has taught me healthy love. Been there for me no questions asked, whenever. Shown me what it means to be kind and compassionate. To take responsibility. To forgive. To heal. Not to judge but to listen to people and try to see their story and their perspective even when I can’t fully understand. I don’t know where I would be without this amazing human. If I continue I’ll end up with a novel. I mean the depth of this woman and the way she views and touches people is amazing. I have always been beyond proud of you but it is so nice to see you recognized by others and appreciated for the beautiful person that you are and the energy you put into what you do. I love you more than words could ever express.
