Music that Describes Ramon

Ramon Bosa was nominated by his colleague, James Strenth.

Behind any successful school are those who support the teachers and administrators on a daily basis with their perseverance, dedication, and supportive attitudes.  They keep the school moving forward while working with many different staff members, community organizations, municipal departments, citizens, and families. SRO Bosa is a shining example of how someone can lead by example and be the change a community needs and deserves.  SRO Bosa is a calming presence in the face of many difficult situations, and he shows great leadership while serving selflessly for others.

SRO Bosa is an essential part of establishing a culture of cooperation and understanding on the South Seminole Academy campus and community.  He mentors students through the GREAT program and started the Police Academy on campus.  He conducts home visits to assure the safety and well being of the most at-risk students. SRO Bosa also assists in the planning of safety drills, and he assures that his school is a safe learning environment for students to grow academically and socially.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, SRO Bosa can connect with families who feel displaced or not represented.  When Hurricane Maria forced many citizens of Puerto Rico to move to Casselberry, SRO Bosa was there to make sure these students felt at home in the South Seminole Academy community. He made sure they felt welcomed and safe, and their families knew they always had someone to speak with in any situation.

SRO Bosa is a mainstay at all school events and extracurricular activities, providing safety and security.  That's not where his contribution ends, however. He involves himself with pep rallies, encourages student athletes to perform in the classroom, and is the last to leave campus, making sure all students make it home safe. SRO Bosa is the liaison for any outside organization that comes to campus, and he coordinates events between the City of Casselberry and South Seminole Academy.

"Even with all the great and exciting things happening at South Seminole Academy, SRO Ramon Bosa is an important part of the stitching that holds together the diverse fabric of our school community," said Strenth. "He is someone who students and staff can look up to as a professional and caring individual. Ramon Bosa is a LifeChanger in our school community."

Ramon has been an amazing SRO when it comes to making sure his students wear helmets. He's helped me at trainings several times and a helmet warning form he used has now been made available to all SROs statewide via the bike ped resource center. He is amazing.

I've known Ramon Bosa all my life. He always has always set a tone of composure and ease that kept everyone sane. He always maintained a positive relationship with even the most challenging people he has encountered. A true humble peace-keeper & meditator. I know he truly is an asset to his job and to our lives.

They forgot that you are a great listener. You were always there to listen and provide suggestions when faced with challenging situations with students. This bio does not give you enough credit for all that you do. You are truly loved on campus and I thank you. You deserve this award and so much more....

Loved Officer Bosa when my daughter was there four years ago! Her phone had been stolen and he was very instrumental in getting it back rather quickly. ??
