LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Megan Claydon was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.

Mrs. Claydon has made a difference in the lives of the students and the staff at her school since she joined Coyote Creek Elementary School last year. Every day, she nurtures a positive atmosphere at Coyote Creek by smiling, welcoming everyone and wishing them a great day.  She leaves positive, helpful feedback for staff after classroom visits, and has pursued best practices for her school. Mrs. Claydon spent hours this summer setting up a new leveled book room for all classroom teachers to use.  She demonstrates and models excellence for everyone with her positive attitude, and she handles discipline with students in a caring and professional manner.

"It is obvious that she cares about every student in our school, and she supports all teachers to help every student be successful.  She has been an incredible addition to our school staff!" her nominator said.
