Gina Navarro was nominated by her nephew, Roberto Ramirez.
Ms. Navarro has been working for PSJA ISD for 28 years. Throughout her journey, she has been a paraprofessional, librarian, special education assistant, P.E assistant coach, and PEIMS/attendance clerk. She has also been a drill team instructor and volunteer coach. Voluntarily, she has coached over 200 students for nine years. She has coached volleyball, softball, basketball and soccer. She has also sponsored volunteering for Folklorico dance. For seven years, her girls' volleyball team has won first place with a undefeated season.
Ms. Gina, as she's known by the students, is adamant about being in school every day. She provides assistance in making sure every student is in school learning on a daily basis. Ms. Gina has made a huge impact in PSJA ISD, her school, and most importantly, her students.
I work with Gina and she is very helpful.
Very proud of Ms Navarro, she is such a great person. I've known Ms. Navarro for the last 10 yrs. She will always be ready to help you out in any way she can. My kids love Ms. Navarro. Our school is so proud to have such a nice person working in the front office. Parents like me that trust our schools with our children should feel very blessed to have such a wonderful person working with our kids. She makes my kids feel very special. Even though my biggest kids are in high school as a junior and a senior, she still remembers them. She has such a big heart. Ms. Gina Navarro is our life changer for her positive energy, love, dedication, and hard work. There is so many good things to say about her but the best word to describe her would be "lovely person".

Ms. Gina is an amazing person. She's a friendly face, a great attitude, always ready to help you with anything you may need. She has impacted my son's life for the better. She is someone he can trust at school and go to any time. She has an enormous caring and loving heart. God bless her for many many more years.
My daughter goes to school at the PSJA campus Gina works at and i have to say that she is an amazing human being she dedicates her life to her job and students.She was also my daughters volleyball and softball coach and when my daughter ever felt she was a failure or not good enough Gina was there to remind her she that was good enough and never gave up on her.My daughter now is in 5th Grade and is very confident.When i go to the campus everyone, teachers,parents and student love her so much she is the heart of the campus the school would never be the same if Gina missed 1 day She is a person who likes to do things right the first time and she will not accept anything other than perfection.
Gina Navarro is a life changer to many of our PSJA students. She goes beyond on a daily basis and never expects anything in return. As a parent of children who got to be under her I was blessed to know she took care of them like her own. She motivated my daughter and inspired her. Years later she still supports her in any way she can. I believe Gina has touched the life's of many in special ways. She empowers them to become self confident and be their best! Thank you for everything you do.
I don’t work with Gina but from my observations, Gina is a very generous person. She works hard and is extremely dedicated to helping her students, coworkers and family.
Ms. Navarro was my elementary school coach. She was always very supportive towards her students and never failed to brighten our days. Regardless of the years that have passed, Ms. Navarro continues to spread the same energy on campus and is now the same positive influence to my younger siblings as she was to me. I’d like to thank her for her continuous support!

Ms. Navarro has been a loyal employee of PSJA ISD. Her contribution to student success through the various jobs she’s had within the district has positively impacted the schools in which she has been employed with. Ms. Navarro is passionate about the students and staff at her campus and continuously strives to assure that things are done correctly, fairly and with the best in interest of everyone at the school. Ms. Navarro knows most students by name and the students know her very well. Our students’ parents are also very familiar with her and many times gift her things for being helpful with a variety of things. Our district and campus is proud to have Ms. Navarro be part of our team.
Ms. Gina Navarro is a very great person with a kind,special,sweet,&loving heart. I am blessed to have her in my life! She was brought in to my sons life at a young age as a helper & made a difference in his life for a fact that at a moment I didnt know he was a slow learner but that didnt matter cause no matter what she was always there to help him through out his school years she was always there. Ms Navarro was everything at the school every one loves her! She is so caring!.Right now my son is a freshman in high school and till this point she is always asking for him & he is always asking for her. She is so amazing and I am blessed to have her in my life!
Gina is a very kind, fun and friendly person!! She always goes above and beyond to help those in need!! Gina is a very family oriented, she is also always thinking of how to make a difference in the community!!
Her dedication and passion is shared everyday with the students at her campus. She goes above and beyond her call of duty to support all students and knows each one of them by name. Very well deserved recognition.
