Annette Ostmeyer was nominated by Alexandria Wilson, a former student.

"Mrs. Ostmeyer is a phenomenal teacher. I was lucky enough to have her as one of my own," said Wilson. "During my senior year of high school, I was taking college English online. I was stressing out because taking it online was pretty difficult. Mrs. Ostmeyer took time out of her day to sit and explain to me what the teacher most likely wanted. She also proofread my essays for me before I submitted them. I could go to Mrs. Ostmeyer with any of my problems and she would be there to listen and help me. I am not the only student who feels this way. She is the type of teacher who would do anything to help her students succeed. She was my LifeChanger because she was there for me and believed in me more than any other teacher ever has."
