"Mr. Ingram helped me get to where I am today as a student," said his nominator. "In school, we are always focused on who we are becoming. In band class, that was never hard for me, as I was striving to be the best musician I could be. However, whenever life threw me around, Mr. Ingram was the one person who still believed in me."
"He has done everything, from teaching me to become an amazing musician, to teaching me life skills that have helped me become the person I am today," said his nominator. "He is one of those teachers who will be your best friend. In life, you have many setbacks. For me, these setbacks would break me down. Knowing this, he would always make sure I was heard and felt loved. Thanks to him, as of June 1st, 2020, I will be walking across the stage to accept my diploma. We come into life making relationships every day, but its the lasting impacts that make the true difference. Mr. Ingram not only added light to my darkest time, but positivity and a hunger to learn more, to be better, to be great."
