Corey James was nominated by his colleague, Fanelphia Mason.
Mr. James is a man of his word. He touches each and every life he comes into contact with.
"I met him when he was coaching my son in football, basketball and soccer," said Mason. "He's not only a coach to these kids, but a mentor to a lot of young men who lack a father figure. He teaches bible study and Sunday school, coaches football, soccer, basketball and cross country, and still finds time to be a father, husband and a great friend. Sometimes, our hard work and long hours goes unnoticed, but it's worth seeing the children accomplish things through Mr. James' care, generosity, and the love he shows his students. Some of the lives he touches are not his students, but in his community, he serves as a role model for many young men."
Coach as I call him, is a man of honor and true to his word. It has been a great pleasure to work with him. He is a role model to this young men not just at school, but in the community. A spiritual man who loves the Lord.
Mr .Corey James is not only a awesome teacher but an excellent coach as well.He deserves this award because he has done so much for me and other students that need him.He makes sure we pass a class and does not want to see us fail.He is a great person god has put into this world.We need more people like coach James.He truly deserves to win like the champ he is.May he be eternal.

Coach James has coached my son in football and basketball since 8th grade. I have seen so much growth in my son under his guidance. I am forever grateful.
