"Mrs. Panek is a teacher unlike any other. She is someone who entered my life only recently, and has already changed it so much," said her nominator. "I have never had her as a teacher, but I have watched her teach other kids, and the way she handles herself is unreal. She has so much patience, and gives every student she is working with all of her attention. She never makes students feel inferior by not knowing a problem or get frustrated if they don’t know a concept."

"Mrs. Panek's not only a phenomenal teacher, but a fabulous person, as well. She is that person who brightens every room she walks into," said her nominator. "I've had a lot going on in my personal life this year, and Mrs. Panek has been there for me through it all, not even knowing any of what is going on. Without even saying it, she has made it clear that she has my back and that I can trust her with anything. She truly is such a special person, and I owe her so much. Overall, Mrs. Panek is the definition of a LifeChanger, and I will forever be appreciative of her and the mark she has left on me."

Lauren Ashley is one of the best High School Math Teachers. She makes everyone want to learn & have fun in doing so. She’s got my vote. ????????????????????

Congratulations to Ms. Panek! We have not only had the pleasure of knowing her since she was young, but we are lucky enough to have our kids have her for a teacher. My kids all say Ms. Panek is a very positive, caring teacher that is always willing to help. She is genuine,compassionate, and her positive attitude sets the tone for success in her classroom and beyond! She is the definition of a LifeChanger!

Lauren is my daughter. I can truly say that she has touched many lives during her teaching and coaching career. Her students have written her personal notes and have visited her long after she has taught or coached them. She influenced one of her students to keep living a life when she considered possibly ending it. As her mother, I am approached by parents and students or players who tell me what a positive impact she has been on them. I am so proud of her. Lauren had so many positive teachers and coaches in her life and she wanted to pay it forward and give others the same opportunity to others.

What a great honor for an amazing teacher, coach and friend to so many! Ms. Panek is so supportive of her students, players and her community! I feel so fortunate that my children have her as a role model! Congratulations!
