Mrs. Johnson teaches the kids in a quick manner, but still gets the information through to them. She holds students accountable and has a pass rate of the EOC around 98% of her Algebra 1 students.
"I made sure to have my daughter in her class because I know that she will be set up for success in future classes," said her nominator.
Mrs. Johnson will also give up her own time to help out the students. She arrives at school early and will stay late to get everything done that she has to get done for the next day. She has been teacher of the year so many times and continues to hold high standards.
