Sara Boyett was nominated anonymously.

As the art teacher, Ms. Boyett strives for her classroom to be inclusive, warm, welcoming and a space where students feel free to express themselves and be themselves! She welcomes each student as they walk in, decorates her classroom with vibrant colors, and has places in the room that allow students to leave their tables to do their work or to decompress. She gives her students autonomy by labeling all cabinets so that they can get what they need when they need it, and by always teaching them that the art room is a safe space.
