As a physical education (PE) teacher, Mr. Macy wants to encourage students to enjoy being physically active. He strives to create a foundation for lifelong fitness and exercise, which helps promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and social-emotional growth. In physical education, it's very important to Mr. Macy that he celebrates all student growth, progress and strengths. It's also important that PE is fun, positive, and engaging so that students feel confident participating, no matter what skill level they're at. Lastly, it's important to incorporate and foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students to feel welcome and accepted.
