Ms. Potter is preparing for her first official year teaching third grade at Oakwood Elementary School. One of her primary goals is to alleviate parents' stress about school supplies, especially during these challenging economic times. In Ms. Potter's classroom, she prioritizes creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters learning and growth. To achieve this, she implements a rewards system to recognize and reinforce good behavior, thereby motivating students to actively engage in their education. She believes that a classroom should feel like a community, so she emphasizes the importance of respect and collaboration among peers. Celebrating the academic and personal achievements of her students is a fundamental aspect of her approach. She takes the time to recognize students' efforts and successes, which boosts their confidence and encourages them to strive for continued excellence.
