Ms. Stewart had a positive influence on my life by being someone I could trust, talk to, and depend on when I was going through difficult situations. She always took the time to listen to me without judging and helped me work through problems that sometimes made it difficult to focus on school. Ms. Stewart encouraged me to keep going, helped connect me and my family with resources when we needed them, and reminded me that there were people at school who genuinely cared about my success. Having that support helped me become more confident, make better decisions, and understand that asking for help is a strength. Ms. Stewart made a difference because she cared about me as a whole person, not just my grades or attendance. I know first hand her current students have a treasure!
Miss Kim made a meaningful impact on my life by being someone I could trust and turn to when I needed support. She helped me work through challenges that could have affected my success in school and reminded me that I did not have to handle everything alone. Having someone who listened, encouraged me, and connected me with the right resources helped me stay focused and move forward. Her support showed me how important it is for students to have a caring adult at school who sees the whole person, not just the student.
Kimberley Stewart
Kimberley’s life is a testimony to resilience, perseverance, service, and the extraordinary power of refusing to give up.
Throughout her professional career, Kimberley has devoted herself to serving children, families and communities. Her work in education, housing, and community operations has placed her in positions where she could directly impact people navigating some of life’s most difficult times.
Kimberley’s leadership has never been simply about holding a title. It has been about finding solutions.
She is well deserving of being the Life Changer of the Year.
Kimberley is one of those rare individuals who sees what so many others miss. She has an extraordinary ability to look beyond circumstances, challenges, or perceived limitations and see the person, the possibility, and the potential that remain. She helps young people see their futures not through the lens of what might hold them back, but through the unencumbered opportunity of what might be possible.
And while she does this so naturally for the young people entrusted to her care, she has a remarkable way of reminding the rest of us of our own potential, too.
Kimberley’s passion and care run as deeply as her convictions. She is quiet in her approach, but never passive; steadfast in her commitment and unwavering in her belief that access, opportunity, and the chance to be seen and supported should belong to everyone. She doesn’t simply open doors for young people. She helps them recognize that the door was meant for them in the first place.
As Kimberley’s father, I have watched her grow into a woman who has dedicated her life to helping young people become more than what their circumstances may say they can be. As a father, there is no greater feeling than seeing your child use her life to make a difference in the lives of others.
I have watched Kimberley give her time, energy, and sometimes her own resources to make sure a child has food, clothing, support, or simply someone who believes in them. She doesn’t stop caring when the school day ends. Many of the young people she has helped over the years are now adults, and they still reach out to her because they know she will be there.
What makes me proudest is that Kimberley has never needed attention or recognition to do this work. Whether she is serving students as a school social worker, mentoring a young dancer, helping a struggling family, or creating opportunities for children through her nonprofit, she simply sees something that needs to be done and does it.
I have always been proud to call Kimberley my daughter. But seeing the number of children and families whose lives are better because she was there makes me even prouder. A father hopes his child will grow up and do something meaningful with her life. Kimberley has done that, one child and one family at a time.
As Kimberley’s mother, I have watched her spend most of her life taking care of other people’s children as if they were her own. I have seen her answer calls after hours, find food and clothing for families, advocate for children who needed someone in their corner, and continue showing up even when no one was watching or saying thank you.
Kimberley is the only social worker for North College Hill City Schools, but to her students, she is so much more. She is an advocate, a mentor, a safe place, and sometimes simply the person who refuses to give up on them. Some of her former students have been out of school for more than ten years and still call her when they need advice, encouragement, or someone to remind them that they can make it.
Her love for young people also extends beyond the school district through her dance academy and nonprofit, where she works to make sure children including those with special needs and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity have a place to belong.
As her mother, I know the sacrifices behind the work. I have seen the long days, the worry she carries home, and the countless times she has put someone else’s needs before her own. But I have also seen the lives that have been changed because Kimberley cared enough to show up.
I am proud of many things my daughter has accomplished, but I am most proud of the person she has chosen to be. Kimberley doesn’t just work with children, she becomes part of their story. And in many of those stories, she helped change the ending.
I was one of her first students when she came to the district and taught Success Skills, and I can truly say she helped save my life. She taught me patience, the power of networking, and most importantly, not to let circumstances beyond my control define my future. She became more than a school social worker, she became an auntie figure. Even 11 years after graduating, I can still reach out to her for support, guidance, and wisdom. Her impact on my life extends far beyond the classroom, and I am forever grateful for her.
Ms. Kim has truly been a pillar of our community. She has given so much of her time, energy, and heart to supporting and encouraging our youth. She is hardworking, kind, and always willing to listen. What stands out most is how much she genuinely cares about people. She takes the time to make others feel heard, supported, and valued.
Her commitment to our young people goes beyond simply volunteering—she has made a real difference in their lives. She leads by example and continues to give of herself because she believes in the importance of helping the next generation succeed. Our community is better because of her dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve.
Congratulations on your nomination!
Mrs. Kim exemplifies what it truly means to be a life changer. She wears so many hats—she is a school social worker and a dance instructor who pours so much of herself into the children she serves. In every role, she creates opportunities for children to grow, thrive, and believe in themselves.
My daughter, Jade, who is now 8 years old, has been a part of Mrs. Kim’s dance company for the past three years. Jade absolutely loves and respects Mrs. Kim, and I have watched her confidence grow tremendously under her guidance. Mrs. Kim has helped Jade develop not only as a dancer, but as a young girl. She teaches her discipline, perseverance, teamwork, accountability, self-expression, and the importance of believing in herself—skills that will follow her throughout life.
What makes Mrs. Kim so special is that her impact doesn’t stop when the dance class ends. Her work as a social worker, educator, mentor, and dance instructor all come together in the way she supports children. She sees the whole child. She encourages them, challenges them, advocates for them, and creates spaces where they feel seen, valued, and capable.
Her role as a social worker and dance teacher beautifully complement one another. The compassion, patience, encouragement, and understanding she brings to her work as a social worker are also evident in the way she teaches and mentors her dancers. She doesn’t just teach children how to dance—she helps shape who they are becoming.
I am incredibly grateful that Jade has had the opportunity to learn and grow under Mrs. Kim’s guidance. She has made a lasting impact on my daughter and so many other children and families. Mrs. Kim is truly a Life Changer, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.

Kimberly is rooted in her community and thats what makes a difference.
I am nominating my cousin, Kimberley Stewart, because she is an absolute powerhouse and a true servant to our community. As a social worker for North College Hill Schools, she wears a million different hats and never seems to slow down. Whether she is making sure kids have food and warm clothes, helping families navigate tough times, or mentoring young people through her dance company and her work with the Cincinnati Ballet, Kimberley is always in the middle of it all doing good. She doesn't just do a job—she lives her life entirely for others. She is the definition of a LifeChanger, and I can't think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.
If you ask me who my favorite person in the world is, I’ll always answer Kim Stewart. My younger sister was born nine years after me and she will always be my best friend. I have watched her grow being a positive factor in the community and in many kids lifes. She has been a kids advocate for many years beginning with her niece and nephew at a early age. She communicates in such a fluent way that makes people feel a good way about themselves . Kim is so much smarter and works so much harder than the average person her age trying to make a difference in peoples life. Our relationship doesn’t come off as the stereotypical brother and sister who constantly bicker and honestly, it never was. We’ve always been best friends. Kim and I would spend almost every day together. We have stupid inside jokes and I can bring her to tears of laughter with a single jester! And with this close relationship we have i know from personal experience what her foundation is,her beliefs and values! I even told her she needs to run for city council and make a difference! This is who Kim is and the strong family values she has makes her character strong and the same time caring.
Ms. Kim,
Congratulations on your nomination, well deserved. You not only pour into the youth at NCH, but to your community as well. We thank you for your dedicated and hard work. Again Congratulations on your nomination.
Her work as a social worker already makes such a difference in the lives of children and families who need support. But what you do beyond that , opening the doors of the fine arts to kids who wouldn't otherwise have the chance is truly something special. She's not just meeting basic needs; she is giving children access to beauty, creativity, and joy that can shape how they see themselves and the world.
That kind of generosity doesn't go unnoticed. Please know how much MANY appreciate you, both for the work you do and the heart behind it.
Ms. Jefferson is truly a tireless advocate for students and families at North College Hill. Her passion and commitment to students and families is unmatched!
Amazing work Mrs. Kim!! You are appreciated!
Congratulations!!! You really deserve it. You’re the best!
Mrs. Kim has truly changed my life in so many ways. She has always been someone I could count on for support, encouragement, and genuine advice when I needed it most. She has a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued, and she never hesitates to show up for the people she cares about. Whether she’s helping me through a difficult situation, encouraging me to keep going, or simply being there when I need someone to talk to, her presence has made a real difference in my life. Mrs. Kim inspires me to be better, believe in myself, and keep pushing even when things get hard. I’m grateful to have someone like her in my life, and I truly believe the world needs more people with her heart, kindness, and willingness to pour into others.
Mrs. Stewart goes above and beyond to serve the community she works in! She has helped so many families get the resources they need, and she does it with grace!
Thank you for always making a difference. One child at a time . Thanks for all that you do.
I may not know her personally, but I’ve had the opportunity to watch her from a distance, and sometimes you can learn a lot about a person simply by watching how they show up for others.
I’ve watched her mentor young girls through ballet with patience, grace, and consistency. I’ve watched her remain calm in the middle of chaos and anyone who works with children knows that is not always an easy thing to do. Yet she continues to lead, teach, encourage, and pour into so many young girls with such composure.
What stands out to me most is that she is teaching them more than ballet. Through the way she carries herself, she is showing them discipline, confidence, patience, and grace.
I may only know her from the perspective of a parent watching from the sidelines, but what I have seen has been enough to know that her impact reaches far beyond the dance floor. She is helping shape young girls, including my daughter, and that kind of influence deserves to be recognized.
I am honored to share these words in support of her receiving the Life Achiever Award.
With Love KeAylah Mom
