LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Charlotte Higgens was nominated anonymously. 

Working with fifth and sixth graders, Ms. Higgens keeps things lighthearted and finds lessons that they can relate to. Additionally, being in a creative space like music, she reassures students that being vulnerable is completely normal and doing things out of their comfort zone only helps them grow. She is a first year teacher.
