Ms. Osborne's classroom is usually decorated in a theme that changes each year. She uses bright colors.

In the morning, she and her teaching assistant greet each child and encourage them to have a positive day. As part of their morning routine, she and her students have a morning meeting where they participate in a turn and talk for two minutes. This activity allows students to interact and share what they did the day before with their partner. Ms. Osborne implements brain breaks throughout the day that help students regroup between activities. She makes expectations clear in her classroom. She also has a calming corner that students may use throughout the day if they need it. 

When talking with parents, Ms. Osborne shares positive feedback regarding things she noticed about their children in the classroom.
