Ms. Renie is a history teacher at a school for students with disabilities, and she strives to make her lessons interesting and relevant. Her goal is for every student to improve themselves and develop transferable skills.

She starts by getting to know each student by name, involving them in setting classroom expectations, and utilizing diverse teaching materials that reflect all backgrounds. She strives to create long-lasting relationships with each student so they know they can trust her to help them learn the best way they can.
