Kelsey Rogers was nominated anonymously. 

Every morning, Ms. Rogers greets each student in her classroom with a smile and a hug. While the students get their morning started, she engages in meaningful conversations that ensure love and safety are a priority before any learning is expected. Her students collaborate, work together, encourage, and show respect. She includes team-building, confidence-boosting, and content-building exercises that all of her students participate in every day. To her, these are more than just words on a screen. They form a lifestyle and culture she works hard to create inside the four walls of her classroom. Ms. Rogers believes students must feel valued, loved, and safe before their true potential can be unlocked.
