LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Caleb Duncan was nominated anonymously. 

Mr. Duncan is focusing on making his classroom feel safe, structured, and welcoming. He will be splitting his day between co-taught English and Resource classes and his own American History sections, so collaboration and consistency are important to him. He creates positivity by setting clear daily routines and visual schedules so students always know what to expect. In his co-taught rooms, his goal is to team up with co-teachers and be equal partners with them. Ultimately, he hopes to create a low-stress, high-empathy space where high schoolers feel comfortable being themselves and taking risks.
