Ms. Coulter focuses on building strong teacher-student relationships, setting clear, positive expectations, and making every student feel physically and emotionally safe. She also greets students individually at the door to set a welcoming tone each day.

My daughter, Laura, has always had a soft heart for children with learning differences. Her older brother, Matthew, was born with many physical problems and intellectual difficulties. She grew up watching him overcome them with the encouragement and dedication of his teachers. This inspired Laura to become a Special Education teacher. She empathizes with her students’ families in their need to have the very best learning experience for their child. They recognize that she only wants what is best for their child in order to achieve his or her potential. I am so proud of Laura and her heart for children.
