Kylie Barker was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Barker consistently uses positive reinforcement throughout each school day. She always has “tickets” with her, and each time she sees a student working hard, following directions, or even showing an act of kindness, they earn a ticket and put it in the “weekly drawing bin." Each Friday, she draws a few tickets, and those students can choose a prize. It’s important for Ms. Barker to acknowledge each student earning a ticket and try to explain out loud what they are doing well; this encourages the rest of the class to be hard workers, as well!
