Courtney Mabe was nominated anonymously. 

Ms. Mabe creates a positive classroom environment by exercising patience. She has patience for knowing students learn in different ways and at different speeds, and no one is perfect. She believes reactions to situations in the classroom can have a lasting effect on how that student acts for the whole year. Blowing up at a situation before completely understanding it can be detrimental. That’s not to say that expectations shouldn’t be upheld, but making sure each student is aware of expectations and held to them better prepares everyone and creates more positive experiences.
