Mr. Estes intentionally creates a classroom where every student feels a sense of belonging, regardless of their background, academic ability, or personal experiences. When students know they matter, they are more willing to take risks, ask questions, and actively participate in learning.

From the first day of school, he establishes clear expectations rooted in respect, responsibility, and collaboration. Rather than focusing only on classroom rules, he focuses on building a community where everyone has a role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Students are encouraged to share their ideas, celebrate one another's successes, and view mistakes as opportunities for growth instead of reasons to give up.

He also believes that meaningful engagement is one of the most effective forms of classroom management. His lessons are intentionally designed to be interactive, relevant, and student-centered so that learners are actively involved in discussions, collaborative activities, and authentic learning experiences.
