LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Mistlina O'Neil was nominated anonymously. 

Ms. O'Neil creates a positive classroom environment by building relationships with students based on trust and respect. She led the Kindness Chain Project for 8 years, where students recorded their acts of kindness daily on a paper chain that was displayed in the classroom all year. Each year, students had thousands of acts of kindness. In addition, she facilitated the students creating a Class Mission statement to keep their focus on their goals as a class.
