During her very first year in the classroom, her students achieved some of the highest English Language Arts state assessment scores in her school district. Most impressively, four of her fifth-grade students earned perfect scores on the Ohio Grade 5 English Language Arts Assessment—an extraordinary accomplishment for any teacher, let alone one in her first year of teaching.

These outstanding results did not happen by chance. They are a direct reflection of Ms. Baldasare's tireless work ethic, thoughtful lesson planning, high expectations, and genuine commitment to meeting the individual needs of every student. She regularly purchases supplemental classroom materials and instructional resources with her own money to enrich both her English Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum.
