Ashley Jackson was nominated by her colleague, JoAnn McCaslin-Monk. 

Ms. Jackson is a devoted educator who uplifts her students to unlock their full potential. She is persistent and positive. She works tirelessly to be the best educator she can be. She has served as a member of her school's Guiding Coalition, which is a leadership committee that uses student data to guide collaborative discussions and decisions for the entire school community. She is currently the first grade lead teacher. Her lessons are engaging. She maintains high expectations for her students while accommodating individual student needs.
