Angelia Shadrick was nominated by her colleague, Stephanie Clure.
Ms. Shadrick is the department chair for the entire special education department of the largest school in her district. She uplifts students, helps teachers who need assistance, and keeps in constant contact with parents to let them know she is there for them and their children. She continuously receives high marks from the administrators and has strong moral and ethical standards. She is dedicated to producing a positive and nurturing atmosphere within the school by always being available when needed.
"When we speak to her, she puts everything aside and really listens to us. She is a wonderful friend and colleague, and I'm not sure where our school would be without her," said Clure.
