"Today, we would like to take a moment to recognize Miss Lexi Arrington for her dedication, resilience, and commitment to our students and school community. This year has brought many challenges, especially within the Special Education Division. Through it all, Miss Arrington never complained and always continued to put her students first," said Villuan-Santiago.
Miss Arrington consistently works hard to create meaningful learning experiences and ensures that every student in her care feels supported, valued, and capable of success. Despite a whirlwind school year filled with unexpected challenges and demands, she remained positive, flexible, and student-centered every step of the way. Her ability to persevere with grace and professionalism speaks volumes about her character and dedication to education.
What makes Miss Arrington especially impactful is that her influence extends far beyond the walls of her classroom. She has built strong relationships with students across the campus and continues to make a positive difference wherever support is needed. She is a true team player who is always willing to jump in, support school-wide initiatives, collaborate with staff, and do what is best for students.

Lexi was born to teach! Even from a young age, her passion and natural talent for guiding others were evident. She has a nurturing spirit and finds genuine joy in helping her students learn, grow, and succeed.
With her big heart and loving nature, she believes every student can overcome challenges and reach their full potential. She constantly encourages them to stretch beyond their comfort zones and discover what they are capable of achieving.
Lexi works tirelessly to provide enriching experiences for her students. She spends countless hours organizing field trips, participating in community events, supporting sports activities, and ensuring her students are active members of the school community. She understands that learning extends beyond the classroom and is committed to giving her students opportunities that broaden their horizons.
She builds strong relationships with her students and their families, maintaining consistent communication and showing unwavering dedication to their success. I’ve had the privilege of seeing the kind of person Lexi is, and her dedication to her students is truly inspiring. She has a special gift for making every child feel seen, supported, and valued. I know Lexi Arrington from a personal point of view. From what I read of her outstanding work work ethics and shinning personality, I can only wholeheartedly agree and add that she is a wonderful, kind young lady and I know she will get very far with her compassion and her dedication to provide a nurturing environment for each of her students.
I’ve worked with Ms. Arrington for the last few years when she first started. I adore her. The first day we met, to me it felt like I’d known her for years. We made a great team together. Everyday in room 26 was a challenge but we made it through. She has a lot of patience (you have to have a lot of patience to work in SPED). Wonderful teacher and fun as well.
Lexi deserves to win the Life Changer of the year award because of her heart. Every time I’m around her I can trust that she can stay calm in any situation, think quickly on her feet, has amazing discernment and most importantly she has the best, bubbly personality! I’m always laughing when with her! I know her students love her and she is just one of those teachers you have as a kid that you still think about 20 years later for the impact they made on your life.
Miss Arrington is a strong leader and great collaborator in our school! She is thoughtful and kind. She has a kind demeanor and her dedication to the students is outstanding! She is an excellent person and educator! ??

Lexi is the kind of teacher who puts her whole heart into what she does, both inside and outside of the classroom.
