Music that Describes Christine
Christine Webber was nominated by a parent of a student, Erica Faginski-Stark.
"It is with great appreciation and enthusiasm that I nominate Mrs. Christine Webber for the 2026–2027 LifeChanger of the Year Award. Mrs. Webber is an exceptional elementary special education teacher whose kindness, dedication, and encouragement make a lasting difference in the lives of her students every single day," said Faginski-Stark.
"Mrs. Webber helped me during a very important time in my life when I transitioned from private school to public school. It was a huge change for me, and I was nervous and unsure about my new school. Mrs. Webber immediately made me feel welcomed, supported, and safe. She took the time to help me understand my new school, encouraged me when things felt difficult, and always believed in me even when I doubted myself," said Faginski-Stark's child.
One of the things that makes Mrs. Webber so special is her ability to create a nurturing and positive atmosphere where students feel cared for and motivated to succeed. She is kind, patient, and understanding, but she also pushes her students to become the best versions of themselves.
"She encouraged me to keep working hard and helped me improve my reading skills, especially with difficult words. Because of her support and encouragement, I became a stronger and more confident reader and student," said Faginski-Stark's child.
Mrs. Webber creates a positive classroom environment where learning feels rewarding and enjoyable. She recognizes hard work and effort, which motivates students to keep trying their best. Her classroom is a place where students feel supported, respected, and proud of their accomplishments. What truly sets Mrs. Webber apart is her deep care for her students beyond the classroom. She attends student activities outside of school, including Faginski-Stark's child's softball games and dance recital.
"Seeing my teacher take the time to support me at important events in my life made me feel valued and cared about as a person, not just as a student. Those moments meant so much to my family and I," said Faginski-Stark's child.
Mrs. Webber demonstrates leadership and professionalism through her daily commitment to her students and her school community. She consistently shows compassion, patience, integrity, and high moral and ethical standards in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to ensure every child feels capable, supported, and successful.
"I am so thankful to have had Mrs. Webber as my teacher. She helped me grow academically, emotionally, and personally, and I learned so much from her. She is truly the best special education teacher, and she deserves recognition for the incredible difference she makes in the lives of her students every day," said Faginski-Stark's child.
