"My son receives additional services through the school, and Miss Grottola has gone above and beyond to ensure those transitions are seamless, supportive, and positive. Her thoughtful approach allows him to feel included, valued, and empowered rather than different or singled out," said Hagemann.

I have had the pleasure of working with Miss. Grottola for several years and the impact she has on all students is so wonderful to witness. She is not only an amazing teacher, she is an amazing person. Miss. Grottola is kind, caring and helpful to all students and they all absolutely love her.

As Cristal's first-grade teacher, it is such a full-circle moment and a dream come true to now call her my colleague. She has a special gift for making every child feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. We are incredibly grateful for Miss Grottola and feel so lucky that she has been our daughter Reagan's teacher for both Kindergarten and 2nd grade. She has inspired a sense of curiosity in Reagan and has helped lay a strong foundation for her love of school and learning. But it’s not just about reading, math, and science—Miss Grottola also fosters a classroom community built on kindness and respect. In today’s world, that is more important than ever. She makes every child feel seen and special, and she has helped Reagan navigate some tough moments with grace. As a parent, I have been so lucky to have had Miss. Grottola twice for my daughter’s elementary years. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to grade school, she has tremendously helped our daughter grow academically and socially.

As Cristal’s third grade teacher, it has been an honor for me to witness her fulfill her dream of becoming an elementary educator.
