Music that Describes Chyane

Chyane LeMasters was nominated by the Assistant Principal, Sabrina Miller.

Mr. LeMasters has a remarkable ability to connect with kids both inside and outside the classroom. Through sports, mentorship, and the relationships he builds within the community, he consistently creates opportunities for young people to grow, gain confidence, and feel supported. That same level of commitment carries directly into the classroom, where he continues to positively impact students’ lives every day. He inspires young people, not only through education, but through leadership, encouragement, and the example he sets as someone who genuinely cares about their future and success.

"In a small community, individuals like Chyane make a lasting difference. His dedication to students, both academically and personally, is exactly what the LifeChanger of the Year award represents," said Miller.

Over the past 7 years I have gotten to know Chyane. He is a strong individual and teacher that impacts the lives of students, and parents, in a positive way. He helps the military community when returning soldiers are struggling with the drastic change. HIs experience as a leader in the military he is more capable than most to see and understand the tirals and tribulations that impact students. Chyane has impacted my life, as an educator, in a positive way. Each morning we check in with each other and talk about the hard times from the previous day. He offers a sympathetic ear and cherrished coworker and friend. Thank you Chy.

Chy is by far one of the kindest, most empathetic people I've ever met or worked around. His ability to connect with kids and let them know he is here for them is amazing. The ability to get kids to see the potential in themselves is truly a gift I will always be envious of. A true community asset, especially with our students.
