Trina Shaw was nominated by a colleague, Tammie Middel.
"Trina is a very dedicated employee. She’s been at Evergreen Elementary for 33 years! She goes above and beyond her job description. She steps up to the plate whenever needed, sometimes handling multiple positions. She takes charge by making sure all kids are served and all their needs are met. She doesn't have any negativity in her body; she’s always upbeat and looking for solutions," said Middel.
Trina is an amazing human being who cares deeply for the students she works with and constantly advocates for them. Trina goes above and beyond (even working on her own time) to make sure that her students and the staff she works with get everything they need. I could not have survived this school year without Trina. She is changing lives for the better at Evergreen.
I have worked alongside Trina for the past 11 years. She is an amazing educator who always puts forth great effort to support the needs of all students. She is without a doubt making a difference each day in the lives of others. Thank you for your service Trina!
This is exactly who Trina is, not just at work, but, in everything she does. She genuinely puts her whole heart into her students, her family, as well as every pet she has ever encountered.
Trina is always the first to lend a sympathetic ear, send a care package to a sick loved one or friend, and the first person we all call for pet advice.
Trina definitely is a “life changer” in so many aspects.
Trina deserves this recognition so much! She is an invaluable member of our school community and she always puts students first! She has a "Can Do" attitude and she does MUCH more than her position calls for. We are blessed to have her on the Evergreen team!!

Trina has shown such incredible dedication to all students at Evergreen , especially our students IEP's. Trina is super dedicated, professional and very, very skilled. She has been a steady support for so many years impacting hundreds of students as well as staff and parents. In many ways, Trina has been the most consistent adult in our special education program at Evergreen and that consistency has made a world of difference each and every day. Her positivity, care and love are felt throughout the school. Thank you so much Trina!
Trina in an amazing human who is very dedicated to ensuring that students thrive not only in her small groups and 1:1 support but in all places within the school environment. She is always willing to jump in, share her ideas, and collaborate for her students. She is a kind, intelligent, and calm teacher and she brings joy to the Evergreen Elementary School Community.
Trina has undeniable impact on Evergreen students and staff! She combines her incredible work ethic, knowledge, creativity, and love for her job as an educator in all that she does. I'm not sure how our school would function without Trina's humble and steady leadership. As a new principal, she's provided me support and given feedback that improves my abilities and outcomes for our school. I cannot think of a more deserving educator!
