As a paraprofessional specialist with Gilbert Public School for the past 26 years, Ms. Heigl supports students with behavior, social and academic difficulties. She also supports students on the autism spectrum and related cognitive disorders. Ms. Heigl helps three families after school, Monday to Thursday, by providing respite services to clients while their primary caregivers have time to rest, recharge or attend to other responsibilities. She is also a member of WISH (Women In Service and Hope), supporting homeless women through St. Vincent de Paul.
