Jennifer Westlake was nominated by a family member, Melody Henderson. 

"First of all, Jennifer is dedicated to her students. She makes changes in their lives, especially those who need extra support and guidance. She is a leader and is the teacher everyone goes to for advice. She is also extremely active. She is her grade's team lead, the elementary school athletic director, and takes care of yearbook production. In addition to all this, she is a terrific wife and mother with four very active children, and she also coaches both basketball and softball at the recreational level. You will never find another teacher who cares so much. She is more than deserving of this award," said Henderson.
