Ziggy Hood was nominated by a member of the community, Michael Collins.
"Coach Hood is a selfless servant. He does not have to work at this point, but chooses to, so he can make an impact on his community. He has put on multiple community events and spent his own money to do so. Coach Hood is a fixture for students with special needs and disabilities. He works in the school with these students daily, working with those who need academic help and those who are highly gifted. He develops special relationships with players on an individual basis to mentor and guide them in a community and area that needs it most," said Collins.
