LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Stephen Allen was nominated by a colleague, Jimmy LeBlanc. 

Mr. Allen has served the students, staff, and community of Coweta County, Georgia, for 30 years in various roles. He has been principal of East Coweta High School for the last 12 years. East Coweta HS is one of the largest schools in the state, with over 3000 students. Mr. Allen has created a culture in this school and community that makes the large school environment feel small and intimate. He is known lovingly as 'Chief' by the students, and his daily statement to them is, "If no one has told you today, I love you." He is nearing the end of his career in education and has touched countless lives. His leadership development "tree" includes multiple people in various leadership positions throughout Coweta County Schools and other districts, as well.
