In the classroom, Mrs. Flores creates a learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. She builds strong relationships with her students and consistently demonstrates genuine care for their academic growth and social-emotional well-being. Her ability to connect with students fosters confidence, resilience, and a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
Mrs. Flores' impact reaches well beyond her role as a teacher. As a track coach, she encourages students to develop discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. She serves as a positive role model, helping students set goals and believe in their potential both on and off the field.
Additionally, Mrs. Flores is a district-level leader who facilitates social-emotional learning (SEL) training for fellow educators. Through this work, she empowers teachers with the tools and strategies needed to support the whole child. Her leadership in SEL has strengthened school communities and positively influenced countless students by promoting inclusive, supportive, and emotionally responsive classrooms.
