Hannah Flansburg was nominated by a colleague, Stacey Allard. 

"Ms. Flansburg is the most inspirational educator I have ever met. Every day, I witness Ms. Flansburg forming meaningful and lasting relationships with students, which fosters a culture of trust, allowing her to help students dive into the world of literacy. She meets everyone who enters her classroom with a smile. Her classroom is so inviting and surrounded by motivational quotes, bright colors, and student work. Students will spend their lunch period with her, working on their assignments on their own time. Ms. Flansburg has fostered a culture of growth in her classroom where students feel as though they can make mistakes without being judged. Everything she does, both in and out of school, is for the students. She often puts them well before herself without a second thought. Ms. Flansburg is a highly respected educator in the community and is such an inspiration to all who meet her," said Allard.
