Jeanine Holthaus was nominated by Cindy Lyme, a family member.

Ms. Holthaus is dedicated, passionate, and caring. She makes sure each student has learning materials to work on at their own level. Ms. Holthaus works very hard to put together activities that meet the specific needs of each student. She works many hours on her own time, after school and on weekends, to ensure her students have the materials they need to develop and learn at their own pace.

Many parents are aware of this and tell Ms. Holthaus that she has had a huge impact on their children's education. Her students work towards and achieve their goals, thanks to her teaching and encouragement.  She provides one-on-one time with her students to help them learn to do things on their own. Ms. Holthaus even assists other teachers when needed because she cares about all students in her school, not only her own.

Ms. Holthaus ensures that every teacher and aide in her classroom is well-informed and works as a team so that each student receives the care they need. Her classroom is very organized, making it easy for students to access the items they need. Ms. Holthaus frequently has her current and previous students greet her, showing her true impact on their learning and development. She never complains and treats her students as if they were her own, always giving her best effort to make them feel comfortable and provide resources for success.

Ms. Holthaus is a very dedicated educator because she loves what she does!
