With 26 years in education, Mrs. Jackson has consistently made a life-changing impact on students by prioritizing character development alongside academic success. As an innovative thinker and respected leader, she has led multiple mentoring groups within her school and community, intentionally building leadership capacity in both students and staff. It is with great pleasure that I reconsider. Jackson for the Life Changer of the Year Award. Since the Chris Tucker Foundation partnered with Birch Creek Elementary in 2024 to establish the Chris Tucker Foundation supply pantry. She is consistently professional, courteous and eager to assist our team with restocking essential items such as clothing, toiletries, and hygiene supplies.
Beyond her administrative role, Ms. Jackson’s compassion for the students is truly commendable. She understands that education extends beyond beyond the classroom and that meeting students basic students basic is foundational to their academic success success and emotional well-being. Ms. Jackson exemplifies what it means to be a life changer.
Congratulations to Ms.Jackson she is a person that wear a hat of many colors.When I was working on CDA she took the time out to help me and support me.She is kind and the children loves Ms.Jackson and so do I.

Ms. Jackson is not only my assistant principal as a second-grade teacher, but she is also the assistant principal for my own children here at BCE. She has been incredibly supportive of their needs and is always present and encouraging. As an educator, she is just as supportive of me—always willing to step in, listen, and help, often before even being asked. She is hardworking, approachable, and genuinely cares about students, staff, and families.
In addition, Ms. Jackson is an author, and her book shares an inspiring story of a girl from a small town, reflecting the same encouragement and heart she shows every day at school. She is personable, dedicated, and truly makes a positive difference in our school community.

Wow what can I say!! First congratulations and congratulations again!! I've known Sugunda since we were in college as education majors and she has always set high goals for herself. She has always been a hard worker, dependable, and someone you can count on. She loves what she does and has always cared for kids and their futures.
