One powerful example of her impact is her leadership of the district's first Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) college tour. For many students, this was the first time they could envision themselves belonging in a college environment. Several participants later identified the experience as pivotal in shaping their postsecondary aspirations, and the initiative has since informed the district's broader approach to college access and equity.
