Noel Depeppe was nominated by her family member, Richard Moreira.

Mrs. Depeppe is someone that many people aspire to be. Mrs. Depeppe has always shown with her own children and her students that she truly leaves an impact on them.

"When I was younger, she would sit me down and test my reading abilities, where she would time me on how fast I could read the passage. She would do this every night and did this for years, because of these early developmental exercises, I excelled in English and reading comprehension from a very young age," said Moreira.

She has also impacted students who had difficulty progressing in their academic studies.

"I once had a conversation with one of these students, and he told me what she had done for him. He told me that when she was his teacher, she personally gave him reading materials to help him improve and made sure to do it discreetly so other students wouldn't judge or make fun of him. Because of these actions, he had credited her with changing the course of his life and will never forget the impact of her kindness and confidence in him," he added.

Mrs. Depeppe continues to impact the lives of her students, who get to experience what genuine kindness and true dedication can do to those who are lucky enough to have her as an educator.
