Vanessa Sutton was nominated anonymously. 

Mrs. Sutton serves the school community as an audiology assistant and special education paraprofessional. She exemplifies what it means to be a LifeChanger. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to students make her an extraordinary asset to the district.

She has a remarkable gift for supporting students with significant behavioral and communication needs. She approaches every child with patience, empathy, and a calm, positive presence. Her ability to build trusting, meaningful relationships is one of her greatest strengths. Students gravitate toward her because they feel genuinely understood, safe, and valued in her care.

In addition to her work within the school, Mrs. Sutton extends her passion for helping students by serving as a Special Olympics swim coach. Through this role, she empowers athletes to challenge themselves, develop confidence, and experience the joy of teamwork and accomplishment. Her encouragement and leadership make a lasting impact both in and out of the classroom.

Whether she is assisting students with hearing needs, managing complex behaviors, modeling effective communication, or coaching athletes toward new personal goals, she consistently goes above and beyond her role. She is the colleague everyone can rely on and the staff member who brings out the best in every student she serves.
