Ms. Huizar is someone who always goes above and beyond what is expected a teacher. All students know her as “mom” or “Momma Huizar”. She spends the money she earns not only buying students school supplies, but also making sure they are fed daily. Also, Ms. Huizar spends her own money on buying grad night and prom tickets. Recently, Ms. Huizar paid for many of her senior’s college applications because the students could not afford it. Ms. Huizar is always so friendly to all her coworkers and has a very positive attitude. She embodies what being a LifeChanger is all about!
Mrs. Huizar is the most caring and loving person I’ve met. She has changed my life tremendously by always supporting me and helping me get through tough times. I appreciate everything she has done for me ...from helping me pay for my yearbook and prom ticket to simply listening to me and providing advice when needed. There is no surprise that she was nominated for this award. She deserves it not only for her hard work and dedication but for how devoted she is to her students. She will forever be known as “Momma Huizar”.
Mrs. Huizar deserves so much in return due to all the blessings she's given so many students and even students that already graduated, no matter how old you are she's always going to be there for anyone. <3 i love you mommahuizar
Seeing how much the soccer players love Ms. Huizar shows how much she does for them and what she means to them. She is at every soccer game and has become the team mom. For the kids to actually call her mom proves the bond that she has created with these boys is very strong. I appreciate all that Ms. Huizar does for the boys soccer program at Santa Ana High School and I know the boys love her and will do anything for her. Thank you Ms. Huizar!! :)
Mrs. Huizar is beyond amazing. She will always be there with support, advise, and the occasional needed dose of truth. However, no matter how far you stray or how far you go, there is always a place for you in her heart. Like he says all the time we are her kids no matter how big we get.
Mrs. Huizar is an incredible human being she is much more than even the description of this nomination. She is a a friend. A tutor, a life coach, a mother to anyone and everyone. She is capable of attending to her own family's needs and the needs of her other children (SAHS) with a little help of caffeine but nonetheless with the same love and devotion. I've experienced first hand how she is able to relate to "the struggle" and who joy only understands that sometimes issues it is beyond the class room but does something about it. I've told her this when I was in her class in 2015 and I will say it again when I grow up I'd like to be even a tiny bit like her.
She was one of the best and most memorable teachers I've ever had, she was a mom to anyone who was lucky enough to be in her class
Mrs. Huizar is more than deserving of this nomination. She is dedicated to her students and loves what she does. She is not just a teacher to her kids. She is a mom, a counselor, a friend!
This lady is a great teacher and has always motivated every single one of her students to do better and to go be someone in life. She’s a great teacher/mother in class and has really impacted my life as well. She teaches from the heart and she will deserves everything that comes her way ????
Ms. Huizar is everything great in this world! She is a great representation of the rainbow after the storm! I believe she truly deserves this because she is beyond amazing. Ms. Huizar is one of the best teachers I have ever had in all my 12 years of going to school. Ms. Huizar has always pushed me to achieve greatness and has always supported me even when I’ve made mistakes. Ms. Huizar is just that caring and big hearted, she goes above and beyond for each and everyone of her students. She would support me and cheer me on even when she didn’t know me personally. She saw me having a tough moment at school one day and since that day she would always keep an eye out for me and would constantly check on me when ever she’d see me until I was finally one of her students. She would always ask me how I was doing everyday and I knew she genuinely cared. I’m truly blessed to have had MS. Huizar as a teacher and as a continuous supporter for me even after high school.
