Trina Dill was nominated by her colleague, Mamie Holland.

Trina comes from a family of teachers which includes her mother, her aunt, and her sister. As Media Specialist, she has made a huge difference in many of the lives of her students through technology and research. She leads our Technology Club. Her students enjoy learning about and using many kinds of technology.

Trina heads and participates on many committees at our school, including our School Improvement Committee. And, through communicating with grade level teachers, Trina's media lessons cover current standards being taught in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Trina truly demonstrates ALL of the criteria one must have to be considered a Life Changer of the Year.

Mrs. Trina Dill goes out of her way for her students at Memorial Drive Elementary. I am a parent and I see from the outside of her kind acts and making every student feel important. She will take time for each student when they go to the Media Center to help and answer questions. She has helped my daughter understand what a dictionary is and the importance of the meaning of words. She has a striving personality that glows through her students. We are thankful for Mrs. Dill.

Trina completely deserves this life changer award! I taught with her for two years in 1st grade and was amazed at her ability to reach kids that weren't reachable! Through her love of reading and technology she opens a door of creativity for her students! She motivates them and encourages them to do and be their best! She is most definitely a Life Changer!

Trina Dill truly makes Memorial Drive Rock! As a Principal, Mrs. Dill is one of the people I can always count on to Be Ready, Responsible, and Respectful! She is the utmost professional with all of her duties and responsibilities. She is extremely dependable, organized, efficient, and always willing to help in a positive, quick fashion. She initiates many new ideas and projects within our school and always goes the "extra mile". Our students LOVE Mrs. Dill, and she constantly challenges them to increase book levels and AR points as well as engage in new technology skills. Trina Dill is an innovator and motivator who makes this school a better place to be on a daily basis. I don't know what I would do without her, and her colleagues and students would say the same.
