"Ms. Smith made a big impact in my life. She was my fourth-grade teacher at Anza Trail School in Sahuarita, Arizona, and she has made the school a better place," said the nominator. "She made learning very fun and made sure that everyone in the class enjoyed learning. Her wonderful personality gave everyone a year of fun, laughter, and amazing education. She always found ways to make learning interactive and intriguing by turning the lesson into games and competitions. She came up with unique ways to grab students' attention. She also made sure that everyone was able to follow along and not get frustrated. If a student didn’t understand a concept, Ms. Smith would go over it kindly and would break it down so it was easy to understand. She also created a great learning environment, and it helped all the students stay on task and enjoy school. Ms. Smith’s wonderful ways of teaching, dedication to student success, and great learning environment made her a LifeChanger."
