Music that Describes Jake

Jake Merrill was nominated anonymously. 

Jake is wonderfully sensitive. Jake works a great deal with those students who need extra support in physical activities. "I have had the honor of watching him work with a student who is legally blind and guiding that student to successfully participate in class activities. I have also watched him work with preschool-age students who need help both physically and emotionally. He is outstanding, gentle, and patient. Every child deserves a Jake Merrill," said the nominator.

Mr. Merrill is a wonderful PE teacher and all around good guy. He is kind and engages students at their own levels and abilities. He encourages them and is enthusiastic when they are successful. West Salem School District is lucky to have him!
