Antasha Jones was nominated by her colleague, Jennifer Duke.

"Antasha 'Coach' Jones is committed, energetic, and professional in all I have witnessed her participating in during the years we have been acquainted," said Duke. "She takes her job seriously, but she still manages to have fun and inspire those around her daily."

Many look up to her, whether they're colleagues, students, or team members. She is fair and equitable in her approach and makes sure all involved are valued as they should be. She is alert to those "left out" and considerate of situations present that need attention. She is meticulous about the details in lessons and practices.

"I would not be surprised if her picture was not beside the word phenomenal in the dictionary! I was lucky enough to teach her daughter in elementary school and have been blessed to watch her grow into an amazing young woman who is about to enter her collegiate career and continue to grow into Antasha's 'mini-me beast mode.' Her mothering skills are outstanding, as well! If you're looking for someone who is continuously growing, someone who is striving for better and higher for herself and those around her, then Antasha Jones is the one. I feel she has done so much to help our district and bring positivity in tough times; she deserves to be recognized," said Duke.
