As a school nurse, I appreciate the kindness Coach Hall shows the students and his attention to the students’ wellbeing. He often calls me to clarify health issues with students. When he’s asking questions about a student, he always says “I want to do it right”. And he always does!! He is kind and uplifting to others. He is one of my favorite co workers!!

As a former student athlete and employee Alex Hall/ Coach Hall is the embodiment of an icon for the VCS district. As your former teacher I am overwhelmingly proud of your accomplishments and life sacrifice you have exhibited during your tenure in this district.
Coach Hall is a quiet storm that showers each person he encounters with respect and understanding. His respect for each person pushes the person to be a better version of themselves. Alex is an example of one who lives and embodies what he teaches. He is a man of integrity and he seeks to be a good teacher, leader, husband and father. Mr Alex Hall brings out the best in his students. He shows up for them beyond the classroom and reminds them that being a well rounded athlete is more than the ball. The kids value him because he values them. He is also a consistent male role model and that’s why his students look up to him. He also supports the reading bowl which encourages students to step outside their comfort zone and try something new.
