I've never met a more enthusiastic educator. Jessica is constantly embracing opportunities for her own professional learning. She's really inspiring. I'm glad to know we have someone like her in the classroom.
Ms. Strong is a collaborative coach and instructional leader who champions children and uplifts teacher leadership in her school and in the community. I have worked with Ms. Strong through a university research partnership focused on early childhood and kindergarten readiness. Even though she is not directly involved with the Early Childhood Research-Practice Partnership work with our university, she has gone out of her way to support the project. She brings her creativity and generous spirit to her work and always finding ways to bring rigorous & joyful math learning to students and their families. For example, she hosted and ran a family math cooking night at her school to enhance students' and caregivers' sense of belonging in math and their connection to the school learning community.
