Ms. Vega is not only a champion for her students, but for their families. She bridges the gap between school and home by providing support and advocacy for parents navigating the education system in a new language. Beyond her school day, she often tutors students, helping them strengthen their reading and language skills so they can thrive. Her unwavering commitment, kindness, and belief in every child's potential have transformed lives and created opportunities for students who might otherwise have struggled to find their voice. Keila is one of the sweetest, loving, hardworking woman, faithful and incredible women that I know. Her love for God, Family and friends is unbroken. Her strength is inspiring! She definitely is an amazing beautiful soul and I am truly blessed to say I know her and love her!! She may not be blood but she will forever be family!!!

Mrs Vega es una excelente maestra . Ha ayudado a mi hija Stephanie González desde que llegó a este país en el 2020 y entró a ridgeview en el 2021 . Mi hija no se comunicaba en inglés , no lo hablaba . Ahora lo escribe , lo lee y lo habla ha mejorado se encuentra en third grade . Para nosotros ha sido una bendición como maestra porque una de nuestras preocupaciones como padres era esa , el colegio que además de ser maestra , ha sido como una líder cristiana que lo es , la ayudado también en su proceso de formación. Siento que es la persona indicada para merecer este logro porque pose un don con los niños para enseñar y ayudarlos a salir adelante.

Her knowledge of policies and procedures is unmatched. She ensures every student receives the services, support, and legal protections they deserve. She follows the rules to a T, safeguarding accuracy, accountability, and equity across the entire program.
What truly sets her apart is her heart. She builds strong, trusting relationships with families, guiding them through processes that can often feel overwhelming. She advocates fiercely for students, collaborates seamlessly with teachers, and ensures that language never becomes a barrier to opportunity.

I have had the privilege of working closely with Keila, and I can truly say there is no one better in her role. She is resourceful and always willing to share her knowledge to enlighten others. Keila is someone you can always rely on. No matter how heavy her workload, she remains committed to helping others and getting the job done. Even on days when she isn’t feeling her best, she continues to show up and complete her work. I am especially moved by her unwavering commitment to excellence and her compassion in supporting and protecting everyone she encounters. It would be incredibly fitting for her to receive this award as she celebrates her upcoming retirement.
Mrs. Vega is and has been outstanding teacher at RGSA. She is 100% dedicated to her job. She has worked very hard as the head of ESOL program at our school. She is definitely well respected by her colleagues, students, and parents. She is loved by all!
Keila is a true Christian. No pretending just who she has always been. Loves being a teacher! Can't imagine the children lives she has impacted for the total good!!
